Day 1
Your journey begins with a private vehicle, driver, and English-speaking guide picking you up from any location in Cusco. After a beautiful two-hour drive with scenic photo stops, you'll arrive at your hotel in Ollantaytambo. After checking in, you'll explore this incredible Incan town, one of the oldest in the Americas. Discover ancient sites and browse the vibrant Pisac Market before enjoying dinner. You'll want to settle down early tonight, as Day 2 is a big one.
Day 2
We’ll start the day with a quick breakfast before taking a train from Ollantaytambo. After an hour's ride, we'll embark on an incredible journey into Machu Picchu. You'll pass by stunning waterfalls and ancient sites before arriving at larger, lesser-known ancient locations, offering a Machu Picchu-like experience without the crowds. After exploring, we’ll enjoy a delicious homemade lunch. Continuing along the mountain, you'll catch glimpses of the Seventh Wonder before entering through the upper circuit. We’ll then take a bus down to Aguas Calientes, preparing for another day of wonder.
Day 3
A visit to Machu Picchu is one of the most spectacular experiences anywhere, and today we’ll double that excitement. We’ll rise early and take a bus up to the site itself. This time, we'll walk through the ancient sites and head for Huayna Picchu (optional) to see Machu Picchu from above. Afterward, we’ll descend and take a train back through the jungle to Ollantaytambo.
Day 4
After breakfast, we’ll head to Patacancha Valley, known for its Incan terracing, waterfalls, traditional Andean farming practices, and breathtaking views. During our biking adventure, we'll pause for a home-cooked meal at a local Peruvian family’s house, learning about their rich culture. After lunch, we'll gear up for an exhilarating downhill mountain bike ride back to Ollantaytambo, with ample time for rest, photos, visiting a secluded waterfall, and exploring several Incan ancient sites.
Day 5
Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, today we head to the Urubamba region, including the Salt Mines of Maras and Moray. We'll experience these wonders in a new light with some off-road biking, passing by streams and llamas along the way. After this final biking adventure, we'll continue our journey, ultimately dropping you off at any location in Cusco.
