Our business began with 13 years living near Machu Picchu, creating KB Tambo — a small hostal and adventure travel company specializing in Peru tours.
We know you. You normally travel on your own — heck, you usually are the guide! We get it. We only run small group adventure travel trips where we can genuinely offer value. Often, it would actually cost you more to go on your own.

In 2020, tourism in Peru shut down almost overnight (along with our biz). Tourism is the third-largest industry in Peru and immediately the people we loved were struggling to put food on the table.
