This section we view the Sacred Valley from our raft on the Urubamba River. With Class 2 and Class 3 rapids, this trip takes approximately two hours on the river. No experience is necessary, and this trip is highly recommended for first time rafters.

With Class 2 and 3 rapids en route to Ollantaytambo (1 hour), then a second section to Huaran which contains Class 3 and 4 rapids with a time of 1.5 hours. A beautiful and fun full day on the Urubamba River!

This section is very beautiful, as we explore the Urubamba from south of Cusco. The river runs Class 3 and 4 from May-October, and Class 4 and 5 rapids from December to April. Some rafting or kayaking experience necessary.
